Italian electronic trio MEDUZA has released the official song for UEFA EURO 2024, titled ‘Fire’, in collaboration with OneRepublic and German singer-songwriter Leony.
The announcement follows MEDUZA’s recent performance at London’s DRUMSHEDS alongside James Hype for their ‘Out House’ club concept, playing to a sold-out crowd of 15,000 attendees. Concurrently, MEDUZA received the Best Selling Remix Of The Year award at the Beatport Awards 2024 for their remix of Supermode’s ‘Tell Me Why’.
The song was first revealed during MEDUZA’s surprise performance at their Our House event during Miami Music Week and has since garnered widespread anticipation from fans worldwide.
EURO 2024 – Closing Ceremony
In addition to producing the official soundtrack, MEDUZA is set to perform at the UEFA EURO 2024 closing ceremony in Berlin. MEDUZA expressed their excitement for the release, stating, “Now more than ever, the power of music to unite us all is undeniable. We’re thrilled to see the release of ‘Fire’, the official anthem for UEFA EURO 2024, and hope it brings football and music enthusiasts together in celebration.”
‘Fire’ combines MEDUZA’s anthemic house production, OneRepublic’s compelling soundscapes, and Leony’s pop expertise to capture the spirit of the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament. The event will take place from 14 June to 14 July across ten host cities in Germany: Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, and Stuttgart, showcasing the pinnacle of European football.
