The Cleveland Browns have finalized a three-year contract extension with Pro Bowl linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, the team announced on Wednesday. According to sources cited by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the deal is valued at up to $39 million, with $25 million guaranteed.
“Been a while negotiating, but, man, it feels good,” Owusu-Koramoah shared with reporters, including Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland. “It feels like I’m loved … it feels good to be locked into a place and have the place also respect you and give you honor.”
Owusu-Koramoah, 24, was approaching the final year of his rookie contract before this extension was secured. Last season, he earned his first Pro Bowl selection after achieving over 100 tackles, along with two interceptions, a forced fumble, 3.5 sacks, and 20 tackles for loss.
Drafted in the second round in 2021, Owusu-Koramoah has become a key player in the Browns’ defense, known for his athleticism and coverage skills. He leads a linebacking group that includes Jordan Hicks and Devin Bush.
