The Green Bay Packers have signed quarterback Jordan Love to a historic four-year contract extension worth $220 million, according to sources cited by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This deal makes Love, alongside Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars, one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in NFL history based on average annual salary, set at $55 million.
The contract also features a record-setting $75 million signing bonus and $155 million in full guarantees, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Packers, known for their legacy of great quarterbacks, selected Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft while Aaron Rodgers was still on the roster. Love took over as the starting quarterback in 2023 and delivered a strong performance with 32 touchdown passes, leading the team to the divisional round of the playoffs.
