Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown engaged in playful banter with his brother Equanimeous St. Brown, who recently joined the New Orleans Saints.
During an episode of the “St. Brown Podcast,” Amon-Ra expressed skepticism about the Saints’ Super Bowl prospects for the upcoming NFL season, stating, “No one in your room thinks they’re going to win a Super Bowl, honestly. Us, like, we know we can do it.”
Equanimeous, countering his brother’s remarks, voiced confidence in the Saints, saying, “I think we can win the Super Bowl. Saints are a great organization… It’s not that hard to make the playoffs.”
The Lions, one of 12 NFL teams without a Super Bowl title, advanced to the NFC Championship game last season, marking their first playoff victory since 1991. Amon-Ra St. Brown, recognized with a first-team All-Pro selection in 2023, delivered standout performances with 119 receptions, 1,515 yards, and 10 touchdowns.
In contrast, the Saints have missed the playoffs in the last three seasons, despite their Super Bowl XLIV triumph in 2010. Equanimeous St. Brown, who started his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers and spent the past two seasons with the Chicago Bears, signed a one-year contract with New Orleans in April.
