Jon Rahm achieved his first LIV Golf victory since joining the tour in December. He won by a single stroke at the JCB Golf and Country Club in Rocester, England, overcoming Tyrrell Hatton, Cam Smith, and Joaquin Niemann.
Hatton, who was tied with Rahm going into the final hole, three-putted for bogey, giving Rahm the win.
Starting the day three shots off the lead in T4, Rahm posted a 4-under 67 in the final round to claim the title.
“To get over the hump feels quite incredible,” Rahm said after his round.
This season, Rahm had come close to winning on LIV, with three previous top-3 finishes. With this victory, he now has 10 top-10 finishes in 11 LIV tournaments, the only exception being his withdrawal in Houston due to injury.
Rahm and Hatton, who are teammates on Legion XIII alongside Scott Vincent and Caleb Surratt, also won the team portion of the tournament. This marks the fourth team title for Legion XIII this season.
