Robert MacIntyre secured victory at the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open by birdieing the 72nd hole at The Renaissance Club.
This win marks his second PGA Tour victory, following his earlier triumph at the RBC Canadian Open this year. MacIntyre finished at 18 under par for the tournament, edging out Adam Scott by one stroke.
His final three holes included an eagle on the 16th, contributing to his success over the tournament. MacIntyre’s win also places him alongside Sandy Lyle as the only Scots to win twice in a single PGA Tour season, with Lyle achieving this feat in 1988. Ludvig Aberg, who held a two-stroke lead going into the final round, finished tied for fourth after shooting 3 over par with five fairways hit.
