The situation at Old Trafford is pressing as the club seeks to raise funds to acquire new players. This urgency is exacerbated by injuries to defender Leny Yoro, who is anticipated to miss three months, and striker Rasmus Hojlund.
As McTominay approaches the prime years of his career, he aims to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup. The 27-year-old made 32 Premier League appearances for United last season, although 14 of those came from the bench.
