West Ham United is reportedly close to finalizing a deal for Leeds United forward Crysencio Summerville. The Premier League club has been actively pursuing various players this summer as technical director Tim Steidten aims to bolster Julen Lopetegui’s squad.
Summerville, who was named last season’s Championship Player of the Year, has become the primary target for the London club. Sources indicate that negotiations are at an advanced stage, with personal terms for the 22-year-old expected to be agreed upon without complications.
Last season, the Dutch forward scored 21 goals across all competitions, contributing significantly to Leeds United’s campaign despite the team ultimately missing out on promotion following a defeat to Southampton in the play-off final.
In addition to Summerville, West Ham has also engaged in discussions with Borussia Dortmund regarding a potential transfer for Germany striker Niclas Füllkrug.
