West Ham United has engaged in discussions with Borussia Dortmund regarding the potential signing of Germany striker Niclas Fullkrug. The 31-year-old player made a significant impact at Euro 2024, scoring twice as the host nation advanced to the quarter-finals. He is among the players being considered by Hammers manager Julen Lopetegui to bolster the club’s attacking options.
West Ham aims to enhance their offensive capabilities and is currently negotiating with multiple players, including Aston Villa’s Colombian forward Jhon Duran. Fullkrug had a productive season with Dortmund, netting 16 goals in 46 appearances after transferring from Werder Bremen for £12.6 million. His contributions helped Dortmund reach the Champions League final, where they faced Real Madrid.
In addition to Fullkrug, West Ham is also showing interest in signing full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United. The club has already made significant moves in the transfer market, having signed Wolves captain Max Kilman for £40 million last month, along with goalkeeper Wes Foderingham and Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme, who have also joined the team this summer.
