West Ham United have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich to sign Moroccan full-back Noussair Mazraoui. The Hammers are set to pay an initial fee of €16 million (£13.47 million) for the 26-year-old, with the potential for an additional €3.5 million (£2.95 million) in add-ons.
Discussions regarding personal terms are ongoing for Mazraoui, who has been a target for several clubs this summer, including Manchester United.
Mazraoui, born in the Netherlands, began his career at Ajax before joining Bayern Munich on a free transfer in 2022. During the previous season, he made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Bundesliga club.
In other transfer news, West Ham are also in negotiations with Aston Villa over striker Jhon Duran. Villa, who signed Duran from Chicago Fire for approximately £18 million in January 2023, are open to letting him leave. Duran has made only three Premier League starts and is reportedly interested in exploring new opportunities.
