The Indiana Fever will serve as the host for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, as announced by the league on Thursday.
Scheduled for July 19, 2025, the game will mark the 21st midseason showcase in WNBA history and the first time the Fever have hosted the event.
WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert remarked, “The city of Indianapolis and the entire state of Indiana have such an incredible and enduring passion for the game of basketball, making the region the perfect host to celebrate the WNBA and the game’s greatest stars.”
The Fever have gained prominence in the WNBA landscape, notably after selecting Caitlin Clark, the all-time leading scorer in college basketball, as the No. 1 overall pick this year.
Currently, the Indiana Fever holds an 11-15 record, placing them third in the Eastern Conference. Clark ranks 13th in the league for scoring with an average of 17.1 points per game and leads in assists with 8.2 per game.
Mel Raines, CEO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment, stated, “We are in the middle of a pivotal, transformational moment in the history of the WNBA and women’s basketball, and we are thrilled Indiana will be the center of it all with the game’s biggest stars on display during next season’s All-Star Game.”
The All-Star Game for the current season took place in Phoenix and featured a matchup between the USA women’s Olympic team and selected WNBA players.
