The NBA has announced its complete regular-season schedule for the 2024-25 season. The schedule is available here.
The season will begin on October 22 with two nationally televised games: the New York Knicks will face the Boston Celtics, and the Minnesota Timberwolves will play against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Each team will play 80 games during the season. Two additional games will be scheduled based on the second round of the NBA Cup. Games from the quarterfinals and semifinals of the NBA Cup will count as regular-season games, while teams eliminated from the Cup will compete against each other to complete the full 82-game schedule.
The NBA Cup is set to start on November 12, with the finals scheduled for December 17. The championship game of the NBA Cup will not count towards the regular-season standings.
On Christmas Day, the NBA will feature five games broadcast nationally. The games will include the San Antonio Spurs versus the Knicks, the Timberwolves against the Dallas Mavericks, and the Philadelphia 76ers facing the Celtics. The schedule will also include games between the Lakers and the Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets versus the Phoenix Suns.
