The Utah Jazz have signed veteran point guard Patty Mills to a one-year, $3.3 million guaranteed contract, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.
At 36 years old, Mills is set to start his 16th NBA season and will join his sixth team, having previously played for the Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs, Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks, and Miami Heat.
Last season, Mills averaged four points per game on 35.1% shooting from the field in 32 games with the Hawks and Heat, marking his lowest scoring average since his rookie year. Over his career, Mills has averaged 8.8 points per game with a 38.6% shooting accuracy from three-point range.
Internationally, Mills has been a key player for Australia, averaging 16.5 points per game during their quarterfinal run in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
