The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to trade Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks, sources confirmed to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
In exchange, the Knicks are sending Bojan Bogdanovic, four unprotected first-round picks, a protected first-rounder via the Milwaukee Bucks, the right to swap future picks, and a second-round selection to the Nets, Wojnarowski reports.
Bridges, 27, comes off a standout season with the Nets, where he averaged 19.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and recorded one steal per game while starting in all 82 contests. Known for his sharpshooting, Bridges maintained a 37.2% accuracy from beyond the arc, attempting 7.2 shots per game.
The trade reunites Bridges with former college teammates from Villanova, including Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Donte DiVincenzo, with whom he played from 2015 to 2018.
This transaction marks the first trade between the Nets and Knicks since 1983, underscoring the rarity of deals between the two historic franchises.
