The Indiana Pacers have listed All-NBA guard Tyrese Haliburton as questionable for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, set to be played on Saturday in Indianapolis. Haliburton, who led the NBA in assists this season and has been a key factor in Indiana’s most successful playoff run in a decade, exited in the third quarter of their Game 2 loss against Boston due to a sore left hamstring and did not return.
The Celtics, currently leading the series 2-0, have confirmed that center Kristaps Porzingis will remain out for Game 3. Porzingis, a former All-Star, has been sidelined since April 29 with a strained right calf. Additionally, Boston may also be missing backup center Luke Kornet, who is listed as doubtful after spraining his left wrist on Thursday night.
The next two games of the series will take place in Indianapolis, where the Pacers have maintained a perfect 6-0 record this postseason. Meanwhile, the Celtics have won five consecutive playoff games and boast a 4-0 record on the road during these playoffs. Boston needs two more victories to secure their second NBA Finals appearance in three years.
