Forward Terance Mann has reached an agreement on a three-year extension with the Los Angeles Clippers valued at $47 million, according to his agent, as reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
With this new contract, Mann will remain with the Clippers through the 2027-28 season. The deal is fully guaranteed, with no player or team options included, as confirmed by ESPN’s Bobby Marks.
Last season, Mann averaged 8.8 points and 3.4 rebounds, maintaining the same statistics as in the 2022-23 season. However, he transitioned into a full-time starter, participating in all but four of the 75 regular-season games. Following Paul George’s departure to the Philadelphia 76ers, Mann is expected to compete for significant minutes in the backcourt alongside Derrick Jones Jr. and Norman Powell, sharing responsibilities with James Harden.
Mann expressed his enthusiasm for the extension, stating, “Super excited to re-sign with the team who has been with me from the beginning. It’s been a great five seasons with this organization, and I’m excited to see where it goes from here,” in an interview with Andscape’s Marc J. Spears.
The Clippers originally selected Mann in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft, where he was picked 48th overall.
