Minnesota Timberwolves’ rising star Anthony Edwards expressed confidence in his team’s ability to extend the series against the Denver Nuggets to a decisive Game 7.
Following a commanding 115-70 victory in Game 6 on their home court, Edwards, aged 22, disclosed that he had assured the staff at the Nuggets’ arena that the Timberwolves would force a return to Denver for a pivotal Game 7 after Minnesota’s defeat in Game 5.

The Timberwolves dominated from the start in Game 6, securing a commanding 17-point lead in the first quarter and maintaining control throughout. Edwards showcased his prowess with a game-high 27 points in just 33 minutes of play.
According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the 45-point victory margin marks the second-largest in NBA playoff history for an elimination game.
Game 7 is slated for Sunday in Denver, where the victor will advance to face either the Dallas Mavericks or the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference finals.
