The Timberwolves clinched a 122-116 victory, sweeping their first-round series against the Phoenix Suns and advancing to the second round for the first time since 2004.
“I didn’t see him at first, I was just trying to push the ball up the floor and Book hip checked me out of bounds,” Conley said. “Prayers up for him. I’m sure he’ll be fine. We’ll do it for him and we’ll keep it moving.”
Following the game, Nori stated that Finch was in good spirits and the team visited him in the medical room. The Timberwolves’ next opponent will be determined by the outcome of the Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Lakers series, with the Nuggets currently leading 3-1.
Finch’s availability for Game 1 of the second round is uncertain.
