The Miami Dolphins and wide receiver Tyreek Hill have reached an agreement on a three-year restructured deal valued at $90 million, featuring $65 million guaranteed, as reported by Adam Schefter and Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.
This contract marks the highest amount of guaranteed money added to an NFL deal without extending its duration, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
When the Dolphins acquired Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, he signed a four-year, $120 million extension that included $72.2 million guaranteed, with $52.535 million fully guaranteed at that time.
At 30 years old, Hill has excelled with the Dolphins, accumulating 3,509 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns over 33 games. He led the NFL in receiving yards during the 2023 season with 1,799 yards and finished as the runner-up in the Offensive Player of the Year voting.
The Dolphins have actively invested in their offensive talents this offseason. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa signed a significant four-year, $212 million extension in late July following extensive negotiations. Additionally, Jaylen Waddle, the team’s No. 2 wide receiver and a former top-10 draft pick, secured a three-year, $84.75 million extension in May, which included $76 million guaranteed.
Over the course of his career, Hill has recorded 10,139 receiving yards and 76 touchdowns in 124 games.
