The Denver Broncos and wide receiver Courtland Sutton have agreed to a restructured contract that could earn Sutton up to $15.2 million for the 2024 season, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Sutton, who signed a four-year, $60-million extension with the Broncos in 2021, is under contract through the 2025 season. Despite trade rumors and multiple offers received by Denver this offseason, the team has indicated its intention to retain Sutton.
In early June, Sutton commented that negotiations were at a “stalemate” but expressed confidence that a new deal would be finalized.
Sutton, a product of SMU, had a strong performance in the 2024 season, recording 59 receptions for 772 yards and a career-high 10 touchdowns. He has played his entire six-year NFL career with the Broncos, having been drafted in the second round in 2018.
