Bronny James was unable to participate in the Los Angeles Lakers’ second California Classic game on Sunday due to swelling in his left knee. This follows his NBA Summer League debut where he scored four points.
The son of Lakers’ star LeBron James, Bronny sat in uniform on the bench during the first half against Golden State, his left leg wrapped in white. Observers noted him adjusting the wrap several times.
In Friday night’s 108-94 loss to Sacramento, James shot 2 for 9 from the field, missing all three of his 3-point attempts, and secured two rebounds in 22 minutes of play.
James was selected 55th overall by the Lakers after completing a season at the University of Southern California.
