Uefa has announced that the 2026 Champions League final will take place at Budapest’s Puskás Arena, following a decision made during its executive committee meeting in Dublin.
The Puskás Arena, with a capacity of 67,215, serves as the home stadium for the Hungary national team. It notably hosted four matches during Euro 2020 and was the venue for last season’s Europa League final clash between Sevilla and Roma.
Regarding the host venue for the 2027 final, Uefa has deferred its decision until September. This delay is due to the organization’s request for further details from the Italian Football Federation regarding refurbishment plans for Milan’s San Siro stadium.
Additionally, Uefa confirmed that the 2026 Women’s Champions League final will be held at Oslo’s Ullevaal Stadion in Norway.
Besiktas Park in Istanbul, Turkey, has been selected to host both the 2026 Europa League final and the 2027 Europa Conference League final.
In Germany, Stadion Frankfurt will stage the 2027 Europa League final, while the 2026 Europa Conference League final will be held at Leipzig’s RB Arena.
This year’s finals include the men’s match between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, June 1st, and the women’s final featuring Barcelona and Lyon at San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao, Spain, on Saturday, May 25th.
Furthermore, Uefa has announced a new bidding process for the host venue of the 2027 Women’s Champions League final. Stuttgart’s bid was not considered due to Germany already being awarded Uefa finals for 2026 and 2027.
